Karsten got our lights up, and I think they look great, especially with the new windows. We saw John H & Lynn headed for home while we were setting out on an evening walk, and they kindly complimented our windows, too.

We saw a few other houses in the neighborhood with lights up already, so in honor of Sista Smiff and her holiday light fetish, I took some pictures.

Holiday lights are up!

you guys still have my favorite house on 5th, and you’ve done it up so well. Kudos to K squared, and a special labor award to the hardest working man in show business.

The windows are wonderful (and I don’t say that about many windows..in fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever complimented anybody on their windows before!)..

Thanks! I was hoping it didn’t look silly to have the lights on the inside of the house, but luckily I don’t think it looks too weird — because it would be pretty tough to hang them on the brick, and I’m sure Karsten wouldn’t want to mess up his new window trim. 🙂

Aww, thanks! You know Karsten always appreciates the feedback. He was glowing from the praise you all gave him last night while we took our walk.

There’s still a lot to do, but we are definitely enjoying the improvements so far.

Thanks! There really are some great houses in this area. Most of the really cool old ones don’t have their lights up yet so I didn’t even get pictures of those. I’ll try to remember to post an update when more lights start showing up.
