OK, and on to a lighter subject: I wonder who ghost-wrote this for Gore?
“[…] He presents, with alarming clarity and conclusiveness — and with humor, too — that the fact of global warming is not in question and that its consequences for the world we live in will be disastrous if left unchecked. […]”
How do ghosts write, anyway?
you know, I keep hearing these days that a lot of the “man-of-wood” buzz from the election was a media creation or just something he was doing at that time.
Mr. E came home one day last year from work sort of flabbergasted & said that they’d had a guest speaker. The funniest guest speaker they’d ever had, actually. Also smart, well prepared, took questions well, but just incredibly entertaining. And it was Al Gore.
I think only Nashville knows this, but after he lost he came back home, grew out a beard, taught some classes at MTSU and started showing up at the Exit/In all the time.
Yeah, I’ve heard that too, but what a dumb act to pull if that’s the case. I know people think that acting serious makes people take them seriously, but… seriously. I wish people would all accept that humor isn’t just for dumbasses. 🙂
For LHMT shows? 🙂
He has a very heterosexual crush on Joie.
I was tempted to reply “hey, what a coincidence, me too!” but that would be patently untrue and just for humorous effect and would probably make you violently ill and I love you too much to do that to you, so instead I’ll just nod and say “really? cool.”
I did frow up in my mouf just a little ;P
According to the crew of Futurama, he was an awesome guy and quite funny.
