Now that the debt's definitely going to be paid off by the end of the year (yay!), and we should have an adequate downpayment saved by the end of next year (yay!), we're budgeting in some nice-to-haves. One of the things we both want is whiter teeth. Has anyone here done any teeth-whitening procedures? Can anyone make recommendations?
I gather that the laser process is expensive, effective, but possibly too drastic and sudden a change to be very subtle about. I don't think I like the idea of walking into work one day and having everyone immediately know I had my teeth whitened all in one shot. But the trays sound like a good option — cheap and more gradual. Are they as effective? Can anyone speak from experience?
Wow, you guys are doing *amazingly* well. I’m very envious.
On my to-do list for this summer is to get a debt consolidation loan so I can get rid of the two credit cards I don’t use. I really should do that sooner rather than later, eh?

Thanks! We’ve been incredibly disciplined and Quicken is my friend.
Good luck with getting yours taken care of.
The trays work really well. Plus, since the trays fit your teeth if you want to touch them up later all you have to do is get more bleaching gel.
I would say don’t spend the big money–Crest White strips work amazingly well and cost about $29-39 a box. I didn’t even need the whole box and my smile was pearly white :o)
Teeth whitening can be very expensive so you’ll probably want an inexpensive option.
I use and recommend Crest Whitestrips for teeth whitening because they are low cost, highly effective and safe to use.
